Add to warm tap water to achieve a colour depth of your choice

 

Coverage approximately 1m sq. per 100ml of liquid when made up.

Keep crystals dry and out of sunlight for extended storage

Makes an excellent water based wood dye, vary the colour from a very light to dark brown, or almost Black

Walnut Crystals are very easy to use and can produce a wood dye colour that can range from a very light to dark brown, to almost Black (Jacobean / Tudor style). The shade is altered by simply changing the amount of Walnut Crystals added to the water and can be tinted with Bolgers Concentrated Wood Dyes to create a range of traditional wood colours. Ensure all the crystals are fully dissolved before using and apply with either a brush, cloth or with a spray gun. Allow to dry for a minimum of 4 hours before applying a finish - wax, wood oil and varnish are all suitable finishes.
