DWARF BEAN CANNELLINO - LINGOT - 75 FINEST SEEDS

Item Description

A famous Italian heirloom bean producing small white kidney shaped beans on 24-26in dwarf plants.  This is the main ingredient of minestrone with a smooth texture and nutty flavour.   You can pick this versatile bean young to eat pod and all as tender, tasty summer beans, or leave on the plant to form small, perfect white cannellini beans

 

·         Sow in early spring undercover in modules with additional warmth provided and pot on as seedlings grow.  They will not germinate in cold wet soil.

·         Can be planted directly outside in the growing position from early summer once the soil has warmed. 

·         Sowing Depth 2-3 cm.

·         Protect direct sown seeds from mice / squirrels with netting.

·         When planted out the plants should be 30-40cm apart with 60cm between rows.

·         Best grown in a sheltered, sunny location.  The plants will need some support (peas sticks).

·         Can be picked and eaten fresh or leave pods on plants to dry for shelling beans.

All of our seeds far exceed the quality standards as laid out in the The Seed (Registration, Licensing and Enforcement) (England) Regulations 2002 (as Amended) where applicable. Product Notes

The majority of our seed are now supplied in quality clearly labelled foils to ensure the freshness of seeds. A small number will be in sealed Ziplock pouches dues to seed size. Note cultivation advice is not attached on packets supplied as this allows us to keep packaging to a minimum and supply such high counts of quality seed at a fraction of high street prices. Full cultivation is provided above which can be copied or printed for those that require them.
