Suri Alpaca Fleece - 6-8"
Our Suri alpaca fleece has come from some of the best quality British suri alpacas (the dreadlock type).
It is ideal for use in many craft projects, from felting to spinning - and especially for creating manes and tails for your felted animals or wonderful locks for your dolls.
This fleece is untreated and unwashed. As alpaca fleece contains no lanolin it does not need to be washed before spinning.
We have a limited supply of this top quality suri fleece in a range of natural colours.
This is Grade A quality alpaca fibre. All our Suri Fleece is of Baby Grade - ie. below 22 micron. All of the fleece is beautifully soft with a superb lustre.
The length of the fleece ranges between the different colours from 6"-8". See our other listing for extra-long Suri (11-13")
Available in Natural Colours (no dyes used) - White, Silver Grey, Light Brown, Chocolate & Chestnut. The Natural White fleece will spin to a soft-white shade.
Our suri fleece is available in 50gram, 100gram & 500gram Bags - The more you buy the more you save!
Please note that this is a very natural product and your fleece may contain bits of vegetation matter - these will easily be removed in the carding/spinning processes.
