The modern styled handcrafted Parker 96R double edge safety razor has the classic "twist to open" design. This razor has a 10 cm long handle. (Most older safety razor models have a 7.5 cm long handle). This model weighs about 65 grams. When the handle of the razor is twisted, the top opens like a butterfly exposing the compartment where the blade is inserted. This attractive razor has a black handle, chrome trim and a chrome head
