MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original RCA Victor Records very first Mono Extended Play press released by Odeon Records, made and distributed in Chile in 1954 by Industrias Eléctricas Y Musicales Odeon S.A., catalog number DSOD-E-52070, with machine etched matrix numbers ORA 7424/19 in Side A and ORA 7247/46 in Side B, with traditional black/silver Odeon Records labels of the period and large center. Yes, Sirs, ANOTHER FIND from Chile!!!

The first to tell about this split EP is that it was RELEASED ONLY IN CHILE and includes 1 song by Angèle Durand and 1 song by Wolfgang Sauer in Side A and 2 songs by Eddy Constantini in Side B, songs which were originally released in the first half of the ‘50’s in Germany and as far as I know never were individual singles. Song titles are written in Spanish, translated to German, with full credits for songwriters, orchestras and style of music of each song, with additional information about the taxes in Chile and rights society, and original price, “$550.-” printed in Side A. So, here you have the chance to get and own this MEGARARE and UNIQUE SPLIT EP including songs by Angèle Durand, Wolfgang Sauer and Eddy Constantini sung in German and with Spanish-written song titles, a record never seen before and now auctioned here in eBay by the very first time!!! WOW!!! A MUST TO HAVE for all fans, lovers and collectors of Angèle Durand, Wolfgang Sauer, Eddy Constantini, Herbert Beckh and Hans Carste, and Traditional Pop/Vocal/Schlager music of the ‘50’s!!!

This record doesn’t have a cover. The record is in EX or EX+ condition both sides, glossy and clean, with only some light scuffs hard to see at first sight, which of course don’t affect play at all. Labels are in great EX+ or NM- condition both sides, clean and clear, with only minimal spindle hole wear, more evident in Side A. The sound is in strong VG or even VG+ condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, virtually no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), with constant soft crackles and some occasional light clicks here and there, with some pops in the last seconds of Side A, which don’t really cause major distraction from the loud and clear sound this record keeps from the beginning to the end. Overall, maybe this record could not to be for the strictest Minty minds or audiophiles, but it’s still a record with a very nice glossy look, almost immaculate labels and still with a great sound quality after about 70 years, which won’t disappoint any serious collector who knows the real level of rarity this Chilean single has!!! And don’t forget the the UNIQUE Spanish-written song titles and the fact this SPLIT EP was RELEASED ONLY IN CHILE!!! Yes Sirs, what a FIND!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the labels and cover in detail. WOW!!!

Bid with confidence and don’t wait until the last second because you could lose the chance to get a real collectable record from Chile (South America) in superb condition like this copy is. You know South American records aren’t easy to get in good conditions, so HAPPY BIDDING and don’t let this record to go away… you could never see a so good copy of this record again… if you are lucky enough to see even another copy again…

Thanks for watching and bidding, good luck and best regards from Chile

___________________________________________

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition. EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
