Lovely Quality Herbert Johnson Black Silk Top Hat (56cm) Ascot. Quality Herbert Johnson Black Silk Top Hat - 56cmSize is measured as no internal label. Slight mark to rear underside of brim as well as storage wear mark to rear edge of brim. The stitching attaching the internal pig skin hat band requires restiching. Both leather and hat fabric are good so this is a straight forward job for a hatter - It is the stitching that has deteriorated. I have endeavoured to identify all concerns otherwise this really is a beautiful hat (see photos for condition). I was going to throw out what is left of the original box, however thought that someone may want it. The hat has not been stored in this for many years.
