This is a beautiful pair of glass cups with silver pierced holders.
The glass cups are edged with a gold band.
The silver mounts are beautifully decorated with people in country scenes with windmills. Each cup has a decorative scroll handle.
Both holders are hallmarked 800 with a maker’s mark present.
Each cup measures just over 3 ½ inches (9.5 cm) in height. The diameter of the base is 2 ½ inches (6.5 cm) and width with handle is approx. 3 ½ inches.
Condition of both cups is excellent. There are no chip or nibbles to the glass and the silver has no dents, breaks or repairs.
A beautiful pair of silver mounted cups dating circa 1890-1910.
The silver holders on their own without glass weigh 136 grams which scraps at £60 which is my starting price.
