    USEFUL INFO!

    We have 10 years worth of experience in OEM In-Car entertainment sector. This sector is one of the fastest expanding industries with units being manufactured to suit all major brands of cars. This sector is constantly being upgraded with firmware, Android and DAB Radio all being technical inclusions over the past year. Due to this, we have tailored the protocol of how you receive your goods to enable stock to be sold to as near as manufacture as possible, this way, you are sure to receive the most up to date units on the market, unlike other vendors who have had stock in their inventory for over 3 months which may result in you getting a older version with older firmware. We deal daily with the manufacturers to ensure, the customer gets the best available units on the market. Delivery turnaround normally takes 7-10 days within the UK and 10-14 days for overseas but on some very rare occasions, it may take up to 28 days so please do refrain from emailing us, upset if it takes slightly longer than the normal timeframes quoted. There are exceptions to this during bank holidays, Christmas and during Chinese New Year (normally end of January to mid February). Should you feel unsure with this selling practice, please take time to read up on the Pre-Sales policy of eBay. Sellers have to meet strict criteria in offering services/goods under this policy, which we have fully adhered to. Also, please do not be misled by the eBay wording “Available” in terms of quantity, this is true to the word as the units are available at all times. Do not be confused by the word “Available” and “In physical stock” as they mean 2 different things.

     

    It does state Delivery timeframe under the price displayed in the auction. Please bare in mind, this timeframe is a combination of the Postage courier service timeframe and also processing time, which is displayed in the auction. Example: 10 days processing and 1 day postage courier time equals 11 days. (Overseas delivery will be slightly longer) Please do not worry though, this is standard to cover ourselves should any postage delay occurs and items normally arrive within 7 days to us.
We care a great deal on customer service as your satisfaction means the utmost to us and we will endeavor that you are treated with courteousness and respect from start to finish. You may think that once you receive the item, that will be the last we care for you but we will be here for the independent 2 year warranty that comes with the item. We have full UK after care service which includes an 9-hour phone line support (Mon-Thursday 9am-5pm Friday 9-3pm), a logistical centre for repairs and also we can assist in any European language via email (Phone support in English only). Please consider this as when you purchase off other sellers in the UK, there HQ are in China and you only have a time delayed email contact should you need there assistance. We are based in the UK and all dealings are in the UK, not Asia!

     

    We strive to offer you the best service unlike dealing with overseas sellers. Please be aware that you may think you are getting a bargain when purchasing overseas but the downside is that some companies that sell products to buyers purchasing a one unit order, you will not get the satisfactory service afterwards should anything go wrong. We have experience in dealing with the far east and realise that some large companies only tend to give after care service to other companies that’s in their best interests, i.e.; further orders etc. We have spoken to previous customers of ours that have horror stories and being left with faulty items and being unable to return them. All your dealings are with us in the UK. We cut out all the pitfalls that you can fall victim of when dealing with overseas vendors.

     

    Also, don’t get stung for custom/excise fees when importing, as the sale item is sent out from the UK, you will not be charged any fees if based within the E.U, it has been known for customers to pay up to £80 (100 euros) when importing and customs can hold onto a package without notice for random inspections which may result in the return of the parcel to sender. We pay all the duty so no need for you to worry about this.

     

    Payment

    For a quicker turnaround, we recommend you use PayPal or credit card which you can choose during checkout. We do not accept any other forms of payment.

     

    Returns/Refunds/Damages

     

    IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have any issues or want to return a unit, please DO NOT open a dispute in PayPal or any return cases in eBay, the resolution centre is a buyers tool to use should they find a seller uncooperative and not willing to assist, we offer a returns policy on all our items and are here to assist so please do not open disputes as its not needed. Should you have a return, please email us with whatever reason it is and provide us with your email address, we will then send you a returns form which you need to fill out and send back with the unit, failure to do this may result in a parcel being returned to you or the refund process being slowed down as we would have no means of knowing who a parcel was from! Please return the item in the same condition as when received and also all parts are sent back, failure to do so will result in surcharges being applied to cover the cost of the parts not sent back. Should a unit be mistreated, we will reserve the rights to appeal the returning of the unit. This is within our rights as a dealer and conditions you have under the Consumer Rights act, which run parallel to eBay policies. 
Also, its strict policy, the item has to be returned before a refund is given, a refund will not be issued first and then you send the item back. ICEBOXAUTO will also not be responsible for any postage fees in you returning the unit. Should the item have faults, we will reimburse you the full amount paid with the postage costs you initially paid. Please discuss with us prior to sending, the costs to return the parcel as we will only reimburse the cheapest rate on the courier market.

    Should it be a return and no faults are found, the postage you paid initially is non refundable. 
Should a item be damaged, we will need pictures. Please email us any pictures, once you have done, please email us via ebay to notify us that you have done so. Also, where applicable, we can send parts for you to fix the problem if competent.
 From the point of receiving the product, you will have 28 days returns policy to return an item for a refund, should it go beyond then, then sadly, a refund is not a option. If you notify us of any faults within the 28 days from point of receiving, we will provide support to try and overcome the issues. Once we have provided adequate support via email, we will open the unit for a further 28 days return from the point of our last advisory email. Should we not hear back within the 28 days from our last piece of advice, we will close the returns option and then warranty cover is only applicable after this timeframe.

     

    Terms of use.

    Whilst we endeavour to provide accurate information in terms of compatible models, there is no 100% accuracy figure as for the best results, its always best that we see the car that’s its being installed in, i.e., pictures etc. Also, its a customers responsibility to advise if the car has any upgraded features such as Amplified speakers, Fibre optic, reverse sensors, reverse camera, Bluetooth, AUX, iPod/MP3, original GPS. We will not be held responsible if a customer fails to advise and then finds the model unsuitable upon installation.

    The unit’s terminology of the wording 'plug and play' must not be interpreted as plug and play connections. Although, the vast majority of the units are plug and play, on some occasions, modification may need applying to some connections. We cannot be held responsible if the wiring differs slightly.

    We cannot be held responsible for loss in radio signal if the purchased unit is not as clear as the original. On rare occasions, you may need to purchase an amplified booster antenna for the car. This applies to some DVB-T appliances to.

    Photographs on our sales pages are provided to assist you in identifying the pieces you require. We endeavour to ensure that the digital representations are as accurate as possible but please be aware that some variation may exist between the colour displayed on your monitor and the actual colour of the item in question. Also, with the OEM industry constantly updating, there maybe some small adjustments to the units firmware, graphical interface.

    The representation of our product text within the sale page should only be expected on the product received and we are not responsible for buyer’s assumptions of items working with certain features of the car. For further detailed information, contact us with the relevant model and your query and we will be glad to confirm if it’s suitable or not.

    The product is an aftermarket product so please be knowledgeable to the manufacturers warranty of the car to establish if our unit breaches any of the conditions of the manufacturer, as we cannot be held responsible should they do so.

     Its advisable that you 'dry-line' the unit before installing, this means, connect the systems cables but dont fully install the unit. Should you install the unit and find fault, this is likely to cause the item to have installation scrapes, this can effect your return of the unit if need be as all items must be returned in accordance with consumer rights legislation where the item has be sent back in the same condition as received. 

     

    Installation.

     

    It is imperative that you get the item installed by a registered auto-electrician. Whilst, all units are tried and tested before dispatch, on some occasions they can get damaged in transit so its advisable you get the designated installer to bench test the unit before fully installing which will save on labour costs. We will not be responsible for any installation costs/Ob-board diagnostic checks or relevant costs such as transport/time off work etc.

    If you proceed with an on-site installation, the customer will not be responsible for any installation/labour costs until fully satisfied with the product. This only applies to our own site installation in Liverpool.

    Upon leaving our installation centre, all installation/labour costs will be non-refundable. Should, a auto-electrician from our database of installers be chosen, this also applies. Although, we may have a database of fitters, they are their own entity and have their own terms and conditions so please check with them prior to fitting.

     

    Delivery

    Delivery is normally 7-10 days within the UK and 10-14 days for overseas. Please read the ABOUT US section above for exception delivery timeframes. Once a item has been dispatched and a tracking number is issued. Its the buyers responsibility to keep track of the item, the item should turn up within the timeframe of 1-7 days depending on location so if the parcel does not turn up in this timeframe, please email us immediately so we can start a investigation with the courier. We only have 28 days from the point of the item being dispatched to start the investigation and once beyond this timeframe, we will not be able to make a claim. Failure to contact us within the 28 days from the item being dispatched may result in you losing your money as we are not liable beyond this 28 days period.

      For orders outside the European Union, it maybe more feasible to dispatch direct from the factory in China. We will advise of this and will duly act upon your response if you prefer this option. Should we not hear back from you within 5 calendar days, we will proceed with direct shipping from the factory. Please note, the buyer is responsible for all checks on the importation of goods from outside of their region for taxes and duty charges that may apply as we cannot be held responsible for any customs charges during the importation process. For regions classed as 'remote' by the courier, there maybe surcharges to pay as courier charges maybe higher than stipulated within the auction. Please check with us before purchasing by emailing us your request, confirming your zip/post code and country for a precise cost on delivery.

     

    Before Purchasing

    Before clicking on the buy it now button or submitted a best offer, please be 100% sure that you wish to purchase the item. We could lose potential customers if you order the last one and you may not wish to advance in completion of checkout. Please do not be concerned on missing out on the products as we have these units available at all times to us. We appreciate it if you could send payment to us within 3 days of purchasing. We will however give you some grace time of up to 7 days if you email us and let us know of your intentions. Sadly, failure to pay or respond to any of our emails will result in us filing for our fees back through eBay after 8 days. This will result in us opening a Non-Paying dispute which will end up with a non paying strike against your eBay username. 3 NPB alerts concluded will result in eBay suspending you.
