• Bezeichnung: Oben und unten in der Druckplatte bezeichnet und signiert. Der Druck erfolgte bei "A.Salmon, Paris".
• Datierung: 19. Jahrhundert
• Beschreibung: Erschütterndes Seestück an der felsigen Küste des Meeres. Von den noch immer tobenden Wellen an die Felsküste geschlagen liegt ein großes Segelschiff auf der Seite. Zwei Frauen mit Kleinkindern, als einzige Überlebende des Unglücks oder die Hinterbliebenen der Matrosen, stehen niedergeschlagen zwischen dem Strandgut und den Trümmern des Schiffes.

• Inscription: Inscribed and signed at the top and bottom of the printing plate. The print was made by "A.Salmon, Paris".

• Description: Shocking seascape on the rocky coast of the sea. A large sailing ship lies on its side, battered by the still raging waves on the rocky coast. Two women with small children, the only survivors of the disaster or the surviving relatives of the sailors, stand dejectedly between the flotsam and jetsam and the wreckage of the ship.
