HERB BERGAMOT 0.4GM ~ 1000 SEEDS - MONARDA FISTULOSA

Item Description

An aromatic favourite to all pollinating insects especially butterflies and bees.  Bergamot is also known as Bee Balm, Scarlet Beebalm,   Horsemint, Oswego Tea, and Monarda.

·         Sow indoors under cover with warmth provided from early Mar.   Bottom heat will speed germination.

·         For outdoor sowings after the last frost when the soil has warmed or in late autumn.

·         Optimal soil temperature for germination: 15-21°C (60-70°F).

·         Sow thinly barely covering the seeds.

·         Seeds should sprout in 10-40 days at the correct soil temperature.

·         Thin or space transplants 45-60cm (18-24") apart.

·         The variety thrives in full sun to partial shade.

·         Deadhead regularly to prolong the blooming period.

·         Leaves can be picked fresh for use in the Kitchen.

Product Notes

The majority of our seed are now supplied in quality clearly labelled foils to ensure the freshness of seeds. A small number will be in sealed Ziplock pouches dues to seed size. Note cultivation advice is not attached on packets supplied as this allows us to keep packaging to a minimum and supply such high counts of quality seed at a fraction of high street prices. Full cultivation is provided above which can be copied or printed for those that require them.
