• Softer than cotton, with a texture similar to a blend of cashmere and silk, making bamboo sheets very luxurious to touch.

• The cross-section of bamboo fibre is filled with various micro-gaps and micro-holes, giving much better hygroscopicity (moisture absorption), permeability (ventilation) and extraordinary soil release.

• Natural antibacterial elements (bio-agent 'bamboo kun') in bamboo fibre repel bacteria from bamboo fabrics.

• 100% bamboo yarns show a great elasticity i.e. nearly 20%. Even in 100% bamboo woven fabrics a remarkable elasticity can be obtained

• Bamboo fabrics need less dye than cotton or modal as the absorption is much better. Bamboo absorbs the dye faster and shows the colours better.

• Smooth round fibres without irritating spurs - a sensible choice for sensitive skin.

• Pesticide-free - bamboo typically does not need fertilization and/or the application of pesticides to spur its growth.

• Strength - bamboo is extremely strong due to its' cellular structure and makeup. Bamboo, at its core, is made of thin, parallel filaments that extend the entire length of the bamboo stalk. Due to this parallel nature, the bamboo filaments have tremendous strength.

• Waste stream - bamboo as a material provides a completely closed loop system. Every part of the plant can be used, and is practical to do so. The bamboo content is 100% bamboo viscose.
