The seated woman has a tambourine, man is holding a Scottish checked cap. A red/brown haired goat is lying in front of them. 4. Rare white glazed flatback Staffordshire Pottery PAIR War and Peace, circa 1870. Approx. measurements for both are 11 ½” / 29.5 cm high; 8” / 20.5 cm wide
Peace is carrying a round wreath in one hand and a green leaf or sheaf in the other
War is carrying a red, white and blue flag/standard, a sword and a shield
Very good condition, no chips or cracks although there is extensive crackling (021614)
5. Large white glazed flatback Staffordshire Pottery ceramic couple sitting under a bower with details picked out in colour and gilt highlights, possibly celebrating the marriage of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert

6. Flatback Staffordshire Pottery Cow and Calf in a pasture with flowers at their feet. Approx 6 1/4" / 16 cm long; 3 1/4" / 8.3 cm wide; 5 1/2" / 14 cm high. Good condition, some wear to paint, possible damage to flowers at base (021592)
7. Large Flatback Staffordshire Pottery couple wearing round hats under a bower - this piece is brightly painted unlike others in white and gilt. Good condition, some crackling, some chips to flowers on arbour. Approx 11 3/4" / 30 cm high; 9" / 22.8 cm wide (020033)
8. White glazed Staffordshire Pottery pair holding wreaths and spaniels - charming red-haired pair in white outfits picked out with gilt, both holding white wreaths and black and white spaniels. Woman is in good condition with some crackling and glazing faults on dress/sash. Male figure is in poor condition, with the base in pieces although pieces have been retained so he could be repaired. Some crackling and a crack across neck and chest, front leg. Basically, he comes free with the purchase of the female figure (018956)
9. Possibly 18th cen Small Hexagonal Staffordshire Pottery Cottage Pastille Burner with gilt Chelsea Pottery Anchor mark - pink cottage with ochre doors and window trim, yellow roof. Good condition, some chips to greenery. Approx 4"/ 10 cm high (018840)
10. Flatback Staffordshire Pottery castle or manor house spill vase with double doors, turrets and drummer boy. No visible markings. Extensive crackling and crack across the front steps. Approx 7 1/8" / 18 cm long; 7 1/8" / 18 cm high (017261)

Flatback Staffordshire Pottery model of a charming pink manor house with two towers topped by white turrets (both have been broken off and repaired), garlands around the columns either side of the front door and the tower fronts. 15. Lady & Bird figurine. Hand and bird have been broken off and repaired and there is some other damage to the shoulder. There is also some wear to the paint and a small chip to the bottom of the corset. Approx 5 1/4'' / 13cm high; 2 1/4'' / 6cm across the width of the base. (022017)
16. Lady curtsying figurine. Good overall condition however the part between the hands and the dress has been broken and fixed and there is some slight wear to the paint. Approx 5'' / 12.5cm high; 2 1/2'' / 6.5cm across the width of the base. (022016)
We are experienced at wrapping and safely shipping china, glassware and breakables and have an excellent track record for safe arrivals. Most of our packing material is recycled thanks to donations from village residents and businesses so we don't stint on wrapping. We try to operate as sustainably as possible and in recognition of this, we have achieved a Green South Downs Sustainability Certification (Bronze).
Postage starts at £5.00 for one piece, £2 for each additional piece, although postage can be reduced for multiple purchases or small items.
Alternatively, local collection from The Pulborough Exchange (open Mo-Sa 10am-5pm) is free and you could make a lovely day out of it with a walk in the South Downs National Park Wildbrooks or a browse around the village. Excellent hot beverages and meals are usually available at the Little Bean Cafe and the Cornstore Emporium.
