•   Postage is charged at £2.95 for the first item plus 50p per additional item in the UK.  EU postage is £3.95 plus £1.00 per additional item.
• Plants are sold as established specimens currently growing in 6cm pots.
•   Your plants will be sent to you bare-rooted, with most of the soil removed from the roots, and carefully wrapped in newspaper. The plants travel happily this way, and postal charges are kept to a minimum. Each plant is individually wrapped, and is accompanied by a label. On receiving your plants they should be potted up into a 6cm or 9cm pot.
• Customers are usually delighted with our goods and service, but if a mistake does occur please let us know and we will do all we can to put things right for you, politely and professionally.
• Sometimes when your plants arrive they may not appear to be a true likeness of the plant in the website photograph.   This is just because plant colours naturally vary with the time of year according to stage of growth and light levels. Our photographs are taken of the plants at their most colourful and attractive in dry conditions and high light levels.  Once potted on and grown on in full sun the full colours will come out.
• Succulent plants like to grow in free draining conditions and should be potted on into a mix with added sand/grit. The plants for sale have been grown in a mix of 1 part compost, 1 part John Innes no. 2, ½ perlite, ½ horticultural grit. They will need to be grown on into bigger pots but increase the pot size only gradually. If planting into the ground ensure that grit is incorporated and that the plant is removed to a glasshouse or otherwise protected over the winter months. Succulents are generally hardy to 2-3C, some well below this but keeping them dry will stack the odds in your favour. Although drought tolerant, from spring through to summer they should be watered regularly to maximise plant health, watering and then allowing the plant to dry before watering again. This will be every 2-3 days in summer.
