1978 Rickenbacker 4001, rare Burgundyglo finish. The action on this one is like butter and nice and low allowing for quick and smooth movement up and down the neck. Light play wear with a small patch of buckle rash. The truss rods work as they should. The action is set nice and low. The frets have a little pitting but playability isn't affected. The pickup cover is missing and the strap buttons are new, otherwise all original.
All electronics and hardware are in good working order with no issues. The pots all date to the 21st week of 78, the serial dates the production to November 78. (RK 6767) All in all this Rickenbacker plays & sounds great. Fully set up with a fresh set of Rotosound strings. Weight 9lbs 12 oz. Nut width: 42.2 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 23.35 mm.
