This listing is for a matching pair of hoops for both your top and bottom snare drum heads. There are a few things that will likely happen when you use these hoops: 1. Your snare drum will have increased attack and punch with focused sound! 2. You'll get more depth and width to your tone! 3. Real wooden sound (nothing compares to wood sticks on wood rims) 4. Unbelievable cross stick sound 5. They look amazing!!! Please note that the listing is for the Hoops only (there is one picture of the snare drum with the hoops fitted and this is just for reference so you get an idea what it looks like. Also note that each hoop is handmade from wood which is a natural material and as such colour may vary and be different to what it looks like in the pictures (lighter or darker). Being made from wood the hoops must be a little 'oversized' (outside diameter) to be strong. This might affect how they sit on the snare stand (some snare stands accept them fine but some might be a tight fit) By fitting wood hoops to your snare you are effectively modifying your drums and as such you accept that you are performing a mod work which might require some further adjustments on your drums (such as lugs, snare throw off and similar). Although hoops might fit on most drums straight out of the box, some manufacturers use different hardware from model to model, year to year so some adjusting might be needed on some models.
