VTG 1970s LEWIS LEATHERS MONZA MOTORCYCLE JACKET LIGHTNING AVIAKIT CLIX ZIP 40. DESCRIPTION
You are looking at a quality 1970's Lewis Leathers Monza style motorcycle jacket with adjustable waist buckles and original Clix zipper. Made in England. Despite research i am not 100% of the model, it seems to have the features of a Monza with the shoulder and elbow padding and the round collar. I am just a little thrown by the horizontal chest zip under the Lewis tab as i haven't seen this before. Very cool design all the same. It is in great vintage condition with just light wear to the seams. The only fault with the jacket is that one of the pockets has some issues. Stitching is missing from the top seam, the zip tag has come off the track, a couple of teeth are missing and there is a hole in the pocket bag. Please see all images.
There is no indication of size but measurements and fit indicate a 40. Please be guided by the exterior measurements. 20 1/2” pit to pit 18" waist 26 ” top of collar to hem 18" shoulder to shoulder 24 1/2" shoulder to cuff 18" pit to cuff
