We present a SUPER rare and collectible  Vintage NOS STIZ Shavette made in a smallest batch in 1989 in the Soviet Union on "MosElectroPribor" factory in Moscow

Package

The razor comes as a factory package with the Original leatherette case in different colours. The Shavette has all original Pieces and the batch comes from a personal collection. 

Condition

The razors are in excellent condition, never used, were held in the personal collection! The overall condition is 10/10!

THE HISTORY BEHIND THIS MODEL

STIZ SHAVETTE - 1989

This razor was made on the "MosElectroPribor" (МосЭлектроПрибор) factory in a small limited batch in 1989. The factory operated from 1965 and then later on the factory had combined with STIZ factory which was producing straight razors from the 1940s. After the attachment of the latter, the factory had several straight razor models and a few other products produced including this rare copy.

The factory has also produced other straight razors such as Mars, Vostok, Zarya and a few others.  

The shavette is the rarest collective item from the factory as it was only produced in a very limited batch in the stated year and no other models of this shavette were ever released. 

This shavette has a unique design with plastic handle and a working part made of some alloy. The construction is different to anything produced earlier or later in the Soviet Union as it was an experimental tool. The other shavette "Alatyr" was done in a more practical and better constructed way (less futuristic). 

In order to shave, you need to pull out the plastic piece from the nose of the shavette, place a half of the DE safety razor blade and close the plastic piece and push it back! 

The shavette comes in an Original  leatherette package (5 various color), all made  without the indication of the factory or the shavette name. 

The razor is considered super valuable as a collection piece!
