Renault 5 Gordini Alpine 1397 - 1690Cc Long Stroke Forged Piston And Liner Set!
Top quality (European, not Chinese!) forged 80mm piston and liner set for Renault 5 Gordini/ R5Alpine. For use with the 83.6mm long stroke crank which is not included, but can be supplied separately. They have a shorter compression height than the 1550cc big bore set. Supplied complete with piston rings, circlips and wrist pins. To suit 840.25 Renault type engines with block machining required. The liners are steel, 80mm and stepped so that the standard head gasket can be used. they have been bored and honed to give the correct piston-to-wall clearance. Will give around 11.5:1 CR depending on your combustion chamber volume. This set is in stock and can be shipped the day after payment is received. You do not have to wait for them to be made or sent to me from my machinist or supplier! I have been building Renault Gordini/ Alpine competition engines for 25+ years, 1300, 1400, 1550 1600,1800 and have plenty of experience with these engines. I can also modify the advance curve on distributors for this engine.
