During the winter months, it is a well known fact that car batteries can struggle to get vehicles started. This can be because of the cold weather depleting the battery's charge, the alternator not being able to get enough charge into the battery on short journeys or even because of lack of use. Jump leads are a great way to get your car going again - just connect them to another charged battery with the engine running and turn the ignition.
These heavy duty Polco jump leads are suitable for petrol engines up to 1.5 litres (1500cc). Equipped with high-intensity LEDs for use in the dark, they use copper-coated aluminium cables with P.V.C. insulation with spring loaded, fully insulated colour coded clamps for increased safety. It has a cable gauge of 10mm squared and have a length of approximately 2.5m.
