Alte Miniatur französische vergoldete Messing/Bronze Ormolu Mount Boudoir 8 Tage Cherub Uhr
This is a lovely little French Gilt Brass (or possibly bronze) Ormolu Mounted Boudoir 8 Day Cherub Clock that is sure to add a touch of class to any interior decor. A lovely little item.
The clock is in good working condition but has not been over restored, and has a lovely au naturale finish with just slight wear to the gilding on high spots and around the rear . 2.25" diameter Enamel dial is perfect too! The movement looks like it has had a recent overhaul with a new platform escapement too. After running for a whole week it has lost just 5 minutes and is still going strong well into its 8th day!
I no longer have anyone to repair clocks for me so I cannot really any warranty but always give after sales support to the extent that I am able (see my feedback record).
Nothing else on eBay for sale by anyone just now that is comparable to this little clock at this sort of price and in such good order.
Approx 7" wide and 6.25" high. Depth is 2.6". Please note the one missing foot which I have replaced with something similar as shown in the first photo, This is the only fault I can find with this lovely little clock and it doesn't really show all that much (see photos).
