This listing is for a brand new, fully built and tested OCXO option board that will fit any HP 53131A/53132A/53181A frequency counter.  The stock oscillator in these counters is very poor, this option transforms the counter into something that is precise and stable, this is a very worthy addition that transforms the performance of your counter. This option works just like the original HP/Agilent option board, it has an on board precision voltage reference and DAC and once installed can be calibrated through the front panel controls exactly like the original option board.  These options are even more stable than the original HP OCXO option!  I have sold over 100 of these with only one failure (for which I provided a replacement) and nothing but excellent feedback (see blog comments for many great recommendations from people that have already bought these).   PLEASE NOTE: While the board is brand new and fully built and tested by me personally, the OCXO modules are recycled from old Cell Tower equipment.  I only use OCXO that I have personally soak tested and verified for both stability and calibration range, the modules I use are very good double-oven units made by Trimble, they are very stable and perform better than the original HP High Stability option board.  Each unit is supplied with everything you need (mounting screws and cable) so you just need to install and calibrate using the standard calibration procedure through the front panel controls and menu and you are good to go.
