PASS (Portable Appliance Safety Services) Ltd are a UK-based company specialising in test equipment, calibration and training services.
We have been supplying test equipment from world leading manufacturers for over a decade to everyone from individual professionals to large, multi-national firms. Our product library comes from industry-leaders such as Fluke, Megger, Seaward, Kewtech, Martindale, Amprobe, Anton, Metrel and many others and with over 3000 products available, we've got the tester for you.
Every day hundreds of customers trust us as their supplier of test equipment. We always aim to provide the very best service for each individual customer and we take feedback to heart in order to constantly improve our service and ensure that our customers trust us again and again for their professional equipment.
At PASS we also have our own accredited calibration laboratory on site. This means that we can calibrate new testers and ship it with a certified calibration certificate that lasts from the day of purchase, not the day of the tester's manufacture.

VAT is included on every listing and a full VAT invoice is provided with every purchase. If you require the invoice in a specific individual or company name please ensure this is in the order details. We can generate invoices only for the address provided when placing an order. All FREE shipment items are sent using Royal Mail 2nd Class service, most items are despatched the same day (Monday to Friday & excluding Public or Bank holidays) and usually take a couple of days to arrive however Royal Mail ask that you allow up to 15 working days as per their T&C's.
All EXPRESS 24 & 48Hr shipment items are sent using DPD Interlink, most items are despatched the same day (Monday to Friday & excluding Public or Bank holidays) and usually delivered next working day however DPD Interlink ask that you allow 2 working days as per their T&C's (for some out of areas postcodes deliveries might take slightly longer).
All EXPRESS 24 & 48Hr shipments are made by DPD Interlink and will require a signature, deliveries take place between the hours of 7am to 7pm (Monday to Friday & excluding Public or Bank holidays) the courier will try and deliver the item twice before returning the item to us, please ensure someone is present to sign for the item, if you have provided an email and mobile phone contact number you will automatically receive tracking details and updates for your delivery including a delivery time slot usually within 1 hour of delivery, should the item be returned to us we will have to charge for re-delivery at full cost.
All INTERNATIONAL shipment items are sent using UPS or DPD Interlink, most items are despatched the same day (Monday to Friday & excluding Public or Bank holidays) and usually delivered within 3-7 working days.
*International Buyers – Please Note*: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.

We AIM to dispatch all orders within 1 working day of receiving cleared funds (Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday & excluding Public or Bank holidays). We occasionally list products which are special order items or if selected, require to be calibrated and therefore dispatch time will be slightly longer, if this is the case then we will contact you to advise of expected delivery date.

PAYMENTS
We accept PayPal through eBay however we can accept Official Purchase Orders, Credit Card payments, Cash at our Teesside Trade Counter and we also offer company credit accounts, if you wish to make an alternative payment please contact us prior to ordering via email karolina@pass.co.uk or by telephoning +44 (0)1642 631653 / 0800 247 1600.
We run an automated ordering system so please ensure your correct shipping address is selected on the PayPal / eBay checkout as we can only send to the address that comes through. THIS IS AN EBAY POLICY .
At Electrical-Direct we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. However occasionally we know you may want to return items, so below is our returns policy. If you change your mind or are not satisfied with your purchase then you can simply return the order within 30 days receipt of the goods and we’ll give you your money back excluding any original packaging and/or extra delivery costs such as expedited and international shipping. Refunds & Returns:
Firstly contact us about your return within 30 days receipt of the goods through EBay messaging system, via email karolina@pass.co.uk or by telephoning +44 (0)1642 631653 / 0800 247 1600 and we will be more than happy to provide further instructions.
If you choose to open a return request and it has been authorised, please write the RMA number that will be supplied clearly on the packaging or the return will be refused by our warehouse staff. All goods must be returned to us via a recorded-delivery service, this is really important as any goods that have been lost or damaged in transit will be your responsibility, so this is an important process.
We accept the return of all orders as long as:
• The goods are deemed to be faulty or defective
• The goods are returned in their undamaged, original packaging
• All accessories supplied with your product are present
• The equipment is in its original condition as sold
We cannot accept the return of software and media products if they’ve been opened. If the goods do not come back to us in a resalable condition the goods will be returned and no refund will be issued.
