Edward Law #63. This is one of a number of fabulous antique crests, armorial bearings, embossed heraldic arms and monograms from the Edward Law collection. I have bought over 50 albums now from this gentleman's collection, and some album's are just FULL with a lifetimes work of cutting off letterheads and the backs of envelopes and business cards to be painstakingly glued into these albums for you all to see now. Ideal for the collector today as quite a number of them have the Surnames or the various Royal families then down the peerage to Earls - Lords - Ladies - Viscounts - Dukes families they belonged to written below. As well as Societies, Masonic Lodges, Military Regiments, Boating Clubs and all manner of other obscure interesting things. They are fascinating to look through by anyone actually. There are a number of foreign albums too which may be of interest to the collector as well.  Great for the LIVERY button collector as well as many of these are similar to the buttons found with simply the Livery Crest and or the Latin Motto.  Most albums I have photographed every page so you can see exactly what is in the album. I have taken a photo of every page in this album that has a crest or monogram stuck on it as far as I could see.   A very nice partially filled album called The Lincoln Crests & Monogram Album from William Lincoln, London. This is a 4th edition.  It has an embossed stamp at the front that reads William C. Long, Southern Counties Library. The pages have been hand numbered inside up to 48. I believe there are 12 pages with crests on them which are: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 19, 23, 30, 32, 44, 45. You can still buy on eBay especially loose crests, monograms and similar paper items that you could FILL the rest of the book yourself.  I have an awful lot ( hundreds ) of LOOSE crests, armorials and similar from this Edward Laws collection to list in groups when I get around to it.  Please see photographs provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition for yourself. There are some signs of age and use wear, mostly on the outer corners and edges. The spine is split on the inside in a few places. The album measures approx. 8 and 1/2 inches x 6 and 3/4 inches. There are quite a few pages in the back full of advertisements and information that are not numbered. My stock ref : #T280/100323/ Ex. Most of my items are sent using the Global Shipping Program due to Royal Mail being really quite useless at actually delivering parcels worldwide for the last 9 months, which gave me and my customers a truly diabolical service of which I am still chasing up delayed post.  Global Shipping Program does not allow coins to be sent which is a little bizarre, is that because they do NOT trust their own delivery people to keep charge of the packages whilst on route ? So coins will be sent using Royal Mail.  To see ALL my other 6000+ items for sale: please click on the  VISIT SHOP or click "see other items", strangely both only have a limited view of what I have to offer on each platform so to see everything click on Shop by Category which will give you a much better view. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are.

If you see  A/F = a/f in the title or description it means  "as found" condition which may have scuffs, scratches and damage. In relation to all my listings it does not mean " about fine ". I have used A/F  for " as found " for 45 years.
